Aspiring Musicians Program (AMP)

Pre-Aspiring Musicians Program (Pre-AMP)
Saturdays, 10-11 a.m.

Pre-Aspiring Musicians Program classes are designed for children ages 7-9 as preparation for the AMP Program. These classes include all types of active music making and learning, including singing, moving, listening, improvisation, and performing on percussion and tonebar instruments. In addition, children begin to use solfege and learn to read and write music notation.

Aspiring Musicians Program Level I, II & III

This program for 9-15 year-old students provides one hour group
lessons for flute, clarinet, trumpet/cornet, oboe, saxophone, trombone/baritone/tuba, percussion, piano, strings (violin) & guitar.

Lessons include ensemble playing, music theory, and music history. Beginners are accepted. Intermediate students have one or more years of experience.

AMP I (all instruments)
Saturdays, 9-10 a.m.

AMP II (all instruments)
Saturdays, 10-11 a.m.

AMP III (Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, Guitar & Strings)
Saturdays, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Audition for placement will be on the first day of class
(February 2nd - spring semester).

Tuition is $80 for a 15-week semester or $150 for a year
(fall & spring semesters)
