Gospel Choir (ages 13-Adult)

The MSU Detroit Gospel Choir class is open to ages 13 through adult -- no experience is necessary! The choir lifts its voice in praise for “all things Detroit” and learns music ranging from contemporary Gospel and Christian music to Negro spirituals, hymns and anthems.

The choir performs concerts each semester at the MSU Detroit Center and throughout the community. Most recently, the choir was invited to perform for the official naming ceremony of Stevie Wonder Avenue (formerly Milwaukee Avenue).
