Private Lessons
Private lessons are a great way to get one on one instruction on your instrument and get specific questions answered on how to develop as a musician. CMSD offers lessons at an incredible value from some of the best musicians in the metro Detroit area!
CMSD Private Lesson Options
CMSD offers instrumental and vocal Private and Buddy lessons for children and adults (woodwinds, brass, strings, piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, percussion, voice). Lessons are scheduled based on the mutual convenience of the instructor and the student(s). Lessons are scheduled on a monthly or semesterly basis, and must be paid for in advance of the first lesson.
Private lessons are one-on-one; student and instructor. Buddy Lessons are two-on-one; two students and an instructor, with cost split evenly between students. Costs are as follows:
$25 for 30 minutes
$37.50 for 45 minutes
$50 for 60 minutes
*Financial aid is not available for private or buddy lessons.
