Adult students learn the basics they need to rock out on guitar or bass in this exciting new group class. The class prepares guitarists and bassists to play in their own rock bands. Students will learn how to perform basic chords, chord progressions, strumming/plucking patterns, riffs, simple melodies, and simple improvised and/or non-improvised solos. TAB reading and basic music theory (such as rhythm notation, music notation, and chord symbols), will be stressed. Each student will learn to play a whole song, and/or parts of selected songs.
When:
Saturdays, 12-1:30 p.m., Starts March 2. (Class runs for 8 weeks.)

Friday, 5:30-7 p.m. Starts March 8. (Class runs for 8 weeks.)
