Group Piano

This innovative approach to beginning piano study takes place in the CMS digital keyboard lab and acts as a springboard to private lessons. The group class provides children, ages 7-9 years old, with the opportunity to learn piano concepts in a social environment through ear training, singing, rhythm work, games, ensembles, performance, technique, theory, and improvisation.

Wednesdays, 5-5:45 p.m.
Tuition is $139 per semester (12 weeks).
Classes begin Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Group piano is taught by Derek Polischuk and College of Music piano pedagogy students under Dr. Polischuk's supervision.

"I felt like the pace and skill level was just right for this age group, and it was a lot of fun for the children."
