Abby Zarimba is an assistant director with the Michigan State University Community Music School’s New Horizon’s Band.
Ms. Zarimba graduated with high honor from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Music. In 2005, Mrs. Zarimba was awarded the Jeffrey and Kathryn Cole International Study Award by the MSU Honors College. Continuing her education at MSU, she earned her Master of Music in Music Education degree in 2011.
She is also certified by the State of Michigan in K through 12 music instruction.
Ms. Zarimba has performed with the Capital City Brass Band, the MSU Choral Union, and currently performs with the MSU Alumni Band and Meridian Community Band. She has also been a guest xylophone soloist with the Bay and Midland Concert Bands.
Abby also currently serves on the MSU College of Music Alumni Association Board.
