Debra welcomes students of all ages and abilities into her studio.  As the mother of nine children and grandmother of seven she has ample experience and patience with children of every age.  Her instruction is tailored to meet the needs and wishes of each individual.  She also enjoys teaching adults who comprise a substantial part of her studio.  Her goal for every student is to impart a love of music-making while challenging each student to perform at his or her best.

Debra also plays the flute and cello, and is an active member of the Capital Area Music Teachers Association and the Southeastern Michigan Flute Association.
