Farangiz Takhirova

Currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) under Professor Berlinsky, Farangiz is a dedicated violinist and educator with a passion for inspiring students of all ages. Suzuki-trained and a faculty member at the Community Music School (CMS), Farangiz has led Suzuki group classes and contributed to organizing the Suzuki Strings Camp. She has taught in various schools across Michigan, bringing engaging and student-centered instruction to a wide range of learning environments.
A nominee for the Strings Fellowship Program, Farangiz also maintains an active performing career, regularly playing with orchestras such as the Battle Creek, Jackson, and Lansing symphonies. In addition to classical performance, she enjoys collaborating with artists across genres, exploring styles from Baroque to Jazz.
