Jacinda Ripley is currently Adjunct Trumpet Faculty at Saginaw Valley State and Olivet University. She has performed with the Lansing, Battle Creek, Adrian, and Saginaw Bay Symphonies, and was a trumpet fellow at the National Orchestral Institute in 2022. Ripley is Solo Cornet in the Fountain City Brass Band.
Jacinda maintains a private studio and has presented masterclasses to studios across the United States, recently including the University of Utah, the University of Iowa, and Illinois State Trumpet Studios. She has given presentations at the International Women's Brass Conference. Ripley serves on the editing team for the International Women’s Brass Conference Noteworthy Newsletter.
Jacinda is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University and has completed her coursework for her Doctorate (ABD). She holds a Master of Music in Performance from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the Eastman School of Music. Her primary trumpet teachers have included Justin Emerich, Robert Sullivan, James Thompson, and Leah Schuman.
