Early Childhood Music

Lizabeth Desmet has been teaching early childhood music at the MSU Community Music School since 2020. In 2022, Lizabeth graduated from the MSU College of Music with a B.A. in Music Education. During their time at MSU, Lizabeth discovered their passion for early childhood music, and developed a mobile music making program where they partnered with the Refugee Development Center to offer music classes to newly resettled families. Lizabeth has also completed their level 1 certification in early childhood music. Lizabeth enjoys playing the ukulele, is actively involved in community theater, and is currently teaching onsite and offsite early childhood music classes at the MSU Community Music School and the Refugee Development Center.
