Paige Heidrich, soprano, is an Ohio native currently pursuing a DMA in Voice Performance at Michigan State University. She received an MM in Voice Performance at MSU as well as undergraduate degrees in Voice Performance and Music Education from Baldwin Wallace University’s Conservatory of Music.

An open-minded and innovative crossover performer, Paige believes in breaking the barriers between opera, music theater, and theater, as well as expanding the accessibility of the modern recital. Her favorite roles include Lady Billows in Albert Herring, Geraldine in A Hand of Bridge, Carolina in Il matrimonio segreto, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Sister Constance in Dialogues of the Carmelites, Molly in Peter and the Starcatcher, Frasquita in The Tragedy of Carmen, Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel, Fiona MacLaren in Brigadoon, Little Sally in Urinetown the Musical, and Emily Webb in Our Town.
As an educator with varied interests, Paige has held a wide range of positions as a general music teacher, collegiate instructor in early childhood music education, vocal coach, stage director, and church choir director throughout her time in Ohio and Michigan. She also taught private voice to thirty students ages 10-65 at the Aurora School of Music for almost two years before pursuing graduate study. In addition to her teaching, she cantors Masses at St. Thomas Aquinas Church/St. John Student Center in East Lansing, MI.
Paige believes that all people should have the opportunity to experience the joy that music-making brings. She brings her performance skills
into the classroom to promote active learning, and is able to share real-world performance experiences with students. Paige is comfortable working with all ages, genders, and musical styles, and specializes in women’s music theater/classical repertoire.
