Sage Rosales is an instructor of violin at the Michigan State University Community Music School. She received her Bachelor of Music at Wichita State University and is currently studying at Michigan State under the tutelage of Dmitri Berlinsky.
She began teaching in Wichita, Kansas, where she taught privately to students of all ages with a studio of nearly 30 students. During her time in Kansas, she traveled with her quartet where they would perform educational concerts at public schools and work with the students. Currently she continues to teach privately and in the public-school districts in Michigan.
In addition to her teaching career, she is an avid performer. She has performed with several orchestras in Michigan and Kansas such as the Lansing Symphony, Jackson Symphony, Wichita Symphony, and the Wichita Grand Opera. She has also studied and performed at various festivals such as the Brevard Music Festival, Aspen Music Festival, Chautauqua Institution, and the Cortona Sessions for New Music. She has appeared as a soloist with the Delano Symphony Orchestra the Wichita State University Orchestra.
