Ms. Pan began to study piano at 6 and violin at age 7. She earned her Bachelor of Music from National Taiwan Normal University where she studied with Nanette Chin-Horng Chen; Master of Music from University of South Carolina where she studied with Donald Portnoy; and Doctoral of Music Performance from Michigan State University where she studied with Dimitri Berlinsky and Yvonne Lam.
She has appeared as second principle violin at Brevard Music Festival in 2015, and accepted to Aspen Music Festival in 2020. She had won the MTNA – Music Teachers National Association – the state competition of South Carolina first prize in 2011 and 2012.
Ms. Pan is a sectional violinist at Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra and substitute violinist at Civic Orchestra in Chicago. She teaches at Michigan State University Community Music School and Expression Music Academy at Novi.
