Amy Stice

Early Childhood

Amy Stice, an accomplished vocalist and pianist, earned a bachelor’s degree from Elmhurst College and master’s degree from VanderCook College of Music in Music Education. Before coming to the Community Music School, Amy taught K-6 Elementary General Music in Indiana and Michigan for 9 years. Amy has also worked extensively in community theatre for 6 years post-college and has stayed regularly involved in her church praise team. Amy is also a regular accompanist for middle school and high school students at Solo & Ensemble. She has been working as a tap teacher for the last 15 years, teaching ages kindergarten through adult. She is currently in charge of the tap program at Happendance and is an assistant director for the Happendance Impulse Performing Company. Amy resides in Okemos, Michigan with her husband Mark and their two daughters, Olivia and Isabelle.
