Carin McEvoy

Cantabile Co-Director

Carin McEvoy has been teaching early childhood at CMS for over 15 years. She holds both a BA and an MA in music education from Michigan State University.

She is a member of the early childhood faculty for the Gordon Institute for Music Learning, a national professional development organization for PK-12+ music educators.

Carin has been a guest director of the CMS Cantabile multiple times in the last year and is excited to work with the students even more this year.

She volunteers with both the Michigan Music Education Association and the Planning Committee for the Michigan Music Conference, a state-wide professional development and performance opportunity for Michigan music teachers and students.

In her spare time, Carin is an award winning community theatre performer and musical director in the Greater Lansing area.
