From infancy through adolescence, CMS has music classes designed for the various ages of childhood. Little to no experience is necessary, so starting a program at any age is a welcoming and encouraging experience!

Beginning Violin

This group class is designed for children, ages 6-11 years old, to gain new playing skills and prepare them for the next step of private lessons

Early Childhood Music Education Programs

Early Childhood Music Education classes are designed to introduce music to children ranging from newborns to age 5.

Youth Group Piano

Youth group piano classes are designed for children (ages 7-9) interested in learning how to play the piano and/or beginner players, but may not yet be ready to commit to one-on-one private lessons.

Suzuki Strings

The Suzuki Program, or “mother tongue” method of instruction, is a well-established pedagogical method. Children typically start at age 4–6 years.

Children and Youth Choirs

Designed for children through adolescents, the Children and Youth Choir program helps students develop their singing voices as they grow.

Making Music & Vocal Village

For children ages 5-7, emphasizes the introduction to instrumental music and building singing voices.

Rock

CMS Rock classes consist of a weekly group rehearsal for students ages 10-18 where they learn to play rock music in a band composed of their peers.
