
Music therapy is the use of music to help individuals with disabilities and medical conditions in the areas of communication, gross/fine motor skills, impulse control, socialization, executive functioning skills, self-expression and wellness.
Musical talent or training are not prerequisites for the music therapy program.
Interventions/sessions are designed according to the specific abilities, interests, and clinical needs of the individuals. Treatment is provided by professional music therapists who have training, experience, and certification in the field of music therapy.
